The peacocks do still roam out there, was driving around a couple weeks ago and saw at least half a dozen milling around the greenbelt.

There was a scene from the new TV series "Lonestar" filmed from inside one of the empty storefronts there. You can clearly see the sign in the background while the actors are talking. Apparently the show is completely filmed in the DFW area.

I'm on the 4100 block of Commerce, just north of the Firefighter's Museum, right across from the Dart Station at Fair Park. I've looked in the crawlspace and it was just dirt as far as I could see with a flashlight, but supposedly it goes on for quite a ways under there.

I live on that stretch of Commerce in one of the older buildings converted to lofts.
There's a crawlspace entrance right outside my front door that goes underneath a lot of the buildings right there.

I've been exploring all over Dallas and I came across what appears to be an old demolished neighborhood.W
It's at the corner of Simpson Stuart and Locust Dr. just east of Central Expwy.
There are paved roads that have been long abandoned and are now being reclaimed and covered by plantlife.
I know at one point there were homes, but now there are just streets, some old boats that were dumped, a
