If I recall correctly the banister at the entry was a plexiglass tube with goldfish swimming.

David Schaffnit on Stanford was my dad we moved up north to the Valley View - Hillcrest area in 1964. my uncle was Wayne Melton and his office was at the far west end of Wallnut Hill Village on the back side. I remember a glass door and a semi-circular planter in the front. Had to be in the late 1950s or very early 1960s. It would have been on the back side of the main building that faced NW Hwy

I remember the airport. I think that it was decommissioned shortly after LBJ was built. Before LBJ - Valley View was a 2 lane road with the airport on the south side and a riding stable on the north side a bit further west near Hillcrest. Later Lamberts Landscape took over the riding stables.

My uncle had a law office on the far west end of the shopping center back in probably the early 1960s. Not sure on the exact year but it was at the far west end of the center facing north.

I know that this is a very old topic but When I was a kid (late 50's now) we dined regularly at Little Bit of Sweden. Vivian was "our" waitress"!
