I do remember it well, I grew up in that area, & lived in the Lockwood apts'
Before going into the boys home in oak cliff.
I used to play Hookey from school in the truck entrance & the creeks behind it.
I used to sneer out @ night & climb on the covered roof, remember Margo's la mode?
Griffs hamburgers? Underwoods pit BBQ? The ice team store, & sure the Santa Claus omg thanks

From June 1967 till they moved us to saint Joseph's home on 901 south Madison
One sister from dunne memorial named sister Mary Bridgette used to beg literally for food for us kids ( long before my arrival)
Knew the sisters when they were flush with $.
