What ever happened to Winfrey point club house, it was a great place to hold family get togethers at the lake.

Bob Whites Bar B Q there on Gaston near Garland road was a great place, I would drive across town just to eat there. With their lunch they would serve several Vegetables fresh baked rolls and a desert.

I recall an older gentleman in the early 50ties By the name of Mr. Moon he came into Mike Fowlers grocery there In Zipp City which was on the nw corner of Peachtree and Lake June, now in Balch springs Springs.

My family had dinner there a short while before it burned down, So I have several pictures of the place inside and yes the chairs were made with long horns the place was full of all sorts of collectables, stage coach, modal A, dolls, and a salid table or should I say salid tables yes it was very long as It was very Texas size. A place to truly remember.
