The reason I ask is that it seems to have once accommodated two mainline tracks and two side tracks
of the T&P Ry. See photo in link:

I don't see the side tracks from the photo, but have read elsewhere that they were there. Now I am confused about when the tracks were removed. From the wording on the photo caption, it would have been in 1917, but the caption might not mean that. Rather, it might mean that the photo dates from 1917, which was before the tracks were removed.

According to this: [www.dallasnews.com]

the tracks were removed beginning in 1921 and were finally out in 1923.

The latter seems reasonable.

take a look at the Sanborn maps for Dallas here and you can see where the tracks ran
