Ft Worth Night Club around 1930

My brother told me a story that had been related to him by our late father.

My parents were once guests at a exclusive night club in Ft Worth that had gambling. This would have been around 1930

The night club was reputed to have a tunnel from the interior to out behind the building so the patrons could escape in case of a raid.

My brother thinks the establishment was located near a traffic circle in Ft Worth.

Any ideas what the name might have been?

I'm think you're talking about the "Top O' Hill Terrace" located on Old Bankhead Hwy/Hwy 80/Hwy 180/Division St about a mile West of Bowen Rd in Arlington. It is still there and currently used by Arlington Baptist University. I "think" there might be tours available.

Sorry, forgot the link smiling smiley
