Hi all. It's been quite a while since I posted anything, but I was over at the Arlington Historical Society this weekend and we were talking about the old gym at the 1922 high school. The 1927 Sanborn maps show it directly behind the school, but there are no photos of it anywhere around. It was one of the largest in the state and could hold 1,000 people. Which, for being built in Arlington in 1922, was just about 1/3 of the city population. The "second gymnasium" from 1940 is still there, next to the school. I was wondering if anyone has any information or photos about the original structure that was there from 1922 to 1939.
Thanks,
Chris
