Recently reading an article about 1939 State Fair of Texas. Reference was made to an exhibit would be located off the lobby of the Educational Building.
Anyone know the Educational Building?

I don't know. I've found this.

There is a building just to the left of the aquarium called the education annex.
2 and 2A towards the bottom.

It is 2a on this map

Not sure if that is the building you are referenced to.

I thought that small building was the Police Annex.

The small white building was built in 1936 (in Moderne style) for the Centennial and was the Christian Science Monitor Building. During my youth it was the DPD Police Station for Fair Park, in the last few years it has changed to the educational building for the Dallas Children's Aquarium.

I think that the Educational Building might have been one of those pre-1936 buildings that was torn down in the 40's.
