Hi all,
It's been a while since I've posted to the site, but I thought I'd throw something out there. I was looking on historicaerials.com and came across an old truss bridge just south of 10 (old 183) in the 1952 and 1956 images of Gifford Hill Road. The coordinates are: N 32.80758 W 97.19506
I went to the coordinates this morning and saw some old pilings on the road and these must be from that old bridge over the railroad. I was wondering if anyone remembers this bridge. It looks like it was around until the mid 60's and then it was almost completely obliterated. The older topographic maps show this as "Hart Spur". Here is a photo of the old pilings on the road.

The approach road is now a driveway for a trucking company and what would be the south abutments are now a small lake in a subdivision off Trinity.
